SHAHR-E BABANA CO was established in 2000 and officially started producing donut, croissant, and Danish pastry in 2004. After a while and changing in company’s approaches, producing a variety of cakes was prioritized. Featuring six production lines, BABANA’s manufacturing unit phase one, produces sponge cakes and cupcakes. This company is considered the first and also the greatest producer of sponge cakes & cupcakes in Iran.
The ever-evolving concept of improvement in the company, inspired the board members to expand the future prospect and focus on new products in different shapes and fillings. As the result, the second phase of manufacturing unit including sponge cakes and cupcakes was launched in 2015.        
With manufacturing capacity over 20,000 tons per year, this company currently produces all kinds of sponge cakes, layered cakes, cookies, and donuts, under the brand names like Babajoon, Babajoonam, Baba2, Babana, Babashirin, Bana Royal, Babaman, Babatak, Atatap, and many more.
